Day 1: Airport - Montelusa

Arrival at the airport and transfer to Montelusa (Agrigento). Overnight stay in Montelusa

Day 2 Montelusa - Vigàta

After breakfast, guided tour from Montelusa to Vigàta in the footsteps of Inspector Montalbano and the other members of Vigata's small police force.
The tour starts in the city centre of Montelusa (Agrigento): here we find the Commissioner's office (Questura) and Piazza San Francesco, the place where the very idea of Vigata came to Camilleri's mind. Then, transfer to Vigata (Porto Empedocle), passing by the Pasture. Stop at the pier to admire the sight of Vigata from the sea. Later, we walk in Vigata city centre to Salita Granet and Caffè Vigata.
Leisure time to partake the small towm atmosphere which surrounds Camilleri's characters and breathe out the "spirit of place" that emanates from this part of Sicily
Continue to Marinella (Montalbano's house) and Scala dei Turchi. Overnight in Montelusa

Day 3: Montalbano's house and other shooting locations

Day trip to the Ragusa area to visit some of the real life locations used for the Montalbano TV series. We make our way to Punta Secca to see the exterior of Montalbano's house and Donnalucata (Marinella) where you can imagine him swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. Continue to Ragusa Ibla to see the Church of Vigata (Cathedral of San Giorgio) and other locations featured in "The shape of the water", "The voice of the violin" "The snack thief". Overnight in Montelusa

Day 4: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. Arrivederci!!
